Biography:
Dr. Sayyed Hosseinian received his MD from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 2004, where he is currently an assistant professor of Orthopedics. From 2006-2010, he was a resident of Orthopedic Surgery at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. In 2014, he was a fellow of Foot and Ankle surgery at Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, Bologna, Italy. He worked under the supervision of Professor Sandro Giannini, who is a world-known foot and ankle surgeon. In 2018, he went to Hessing Kliniken, Augsburg, Germany, for a Short-term fellowship in MIS (Minimal Invasive Surgery) in the Foot and Ankle Surgery field. Now he is a research fellow in the department of foot and ankle surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. He is the director of the orthopedic residency program at Mashhad University of medical sciences and a member of the orthopedic research center at MUMS. He is also on the editorial board of the Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery (ABJS) journal. He has supervised more than 30 proposals and published 20 journal articles. He has more than 12 years of experience in General Orthopedics and 7 years of experience in Foot and Ankle Surgery. His research interests are in the areas of foot and ankle surgery, trauma, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
