Biography:
Dr. Ebrahimzadeh received his MD from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 1996, where he is currently a full professor of Orthopedics. From 1996-2000, he was a resident of Orthopedic Surgery in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. From 2005-2007, he was a fellow of Shoulder and Knee Surgery and Sport Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. In 2007, he received his clinical fellowship of Shoulder Surgery from Clinique e General, Annecy, France. He is the chief of orthopedic group in MUMS; chief of Department of Orthopedics at Emam Reza Hospital, Mashhad, Iran; editor-in-chief of Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery Bone and Joint journal; chief of the Supreme Council of Orthopedic Research Center in MUMS, a member of the Iranian Society of Knee surgery, Arthroscopy and Sport Traumatology (ISKAST). He has supervised more than 140 proposals, published 165 journal articles, co-authored 3 published books, and registered 15 national and 4 US patents. He has more than 21 years of experience in General Orthopedics and 18 years of experience in Shoulder and Knee Surgery. His research interests are in the areas of sport medicine, shoulder surgery, knee surgery, biomaterials, bionic hands, biomechanics, rehabilitation robotics, and orthopedic implants.
