Biography:

Dr. Vahedi received his MD from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 2005, where he is currently an assistant professor of orthopedic hand surgery. In the pre-university stage from 1994-1998, he attended the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) at Mashhad. From 2007-2011, he was a resident of Orthopedic Surgery in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. From 2016-2018, he was a clinical fellow of Hand and Upper Extremity at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) while also getting his clinical fellowship of Hand and Wrist Arthroscopy and Shoulder Surgery from Clinique Bizet, Institute de la Main, Paris. He is faculty of hand surgery in MUMS, a member of the Supreme Council of Orthopedic Research Center in MUMS, a member of Orthopedics Education Committee and a member of Iran's National Foundation of Elites. He has supervised more than 20 proposals, published 17 journal articles, co-authored three published books, and registered 15 national and 2 US patents. He has more than 13 years of experience in General Orthopedics and 5 years of experience in Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery. His research interests are in the areas of hand and peripheral nerve surgery, design and development of orthopedic devices.
